We Play Hard Basketball Camp 2019

And just like that, Ben switches from Jr. Lifeguards and swim team back to the courts for a week of basketball camp. 

I do not know where this kid gets his energy. He is in basketball camp for 6 hours, takes a 1 hour break and then heads to the pool for swim team practice. His work ethic amazes me and I am so proud of him for never giving up, being strong, and always being a great teammate!

Because sometimes you just need a day together to hang out and spend time not doing anything other than having fun! Thankful for days like this! 

Swim-a-Thon 2019

Ben's first swim-a-thon is in the books and he ROCKED it! He swam 111 laps, which is just short of 2 miles and he swam for 2 hours straight! I could never do that so I think that this is pretty stinking impressive! Way to go Ben 

Jr Life Guards for Ben

Ben thinks that when he gets to HS and gets his first job that he would like to be a lifeguard and teach swimming lessons. So this past week, Ben went to camp to learn to be a Jr Lifeguard and he loved it! It was a lot of work and a really long day but he had fun and says he still wants to do that job when he gets older- and with his personality, I think he would be great at that!!! 

Happy 11th Birthday Ben!

I can't believe Ben is now 11! For some reason, 11 just seems so old! He is growing up to be such an amazing, kind, and sweet young man and I am just so proud of him. He works so hard in school and all his sports and still finds time to help others. I love you Ben and I am so thankful I get to be your mama! Happy Birthday!
