It was just a great day, with my great boys, out enjoying the great weather! Thankful for these little moments.

Ready for Battle

This past weekend the boys were with daddy and they went on a hike up to two trees. 

It was hard work but they had a great time!

Fishing for A Good Time

Being a single mom is new to me and there is a pretty large learning curve when trying to figure out how to single handedly do the job of 2. It is hard to balance everything and lately I have been feeling as though there has been a lot of time allotted to Ben's BMX and not a lot of "family" time so I decided that I wanted to do something really special with the boys and since they LOVE sea life we packed up and headed to Sea World for the day. It was an amazing day and was nice to spend the whole day together.

Ben Takes the Win at the Ventura BMX State Race

Congrats to Ben who earned his tenth 1st place win this weekend in the Ventura BMX State Race! He raced against 15 other riders and earned 1st in the qualifiers, semi finals and the main. He was super pumped and excited and I am super proud because he worked hard and never gave up! Way to go Ben! I love you and win or loose, I am proud to be your mommy!!!!

Now since Ben has 10 first place wins, he will be racing at the intermediate level. It's gonna be tough and he will be one (if not, THE) youngest in that division but all I care about is that he has fun and does his best! GO BEN!

Happy 5th Birthday Ben

He's been asking for a long time for ice cream cake. So as promised,
