Family Day

This afternoon Bryan, Ben and I all went to a local park and enjoyed the break in the rain. We even brought Floyd (the dog), which Ben thought was a lot of fun. Bryan and Ben played with a water rocket and a balloon helicopter, we ran with Floyd, and we rode in Ben's car. It was a great time and it was nice to get out after all this rain.

What To Do While Mommy Cleans

I am not sure what other kids do while thier moms clean the bathroom but this is what my sweet little one does . . . crawls in and plays in the bath tub. LOL- Oh well, at least he is out of trouble and having fun.

It Was Bound to Happen

This is something that you hear people talk about- and I have been waiting for it to happen for me . . . that day has finally come and it was as cute as I thought it would be. Today, Ben fell asleep while eating in his lunch :)

Playing with Friends

The rain is gone, the sun was out, and so it was off to the park today with our friends the Hesters and our other friends Koston and Brodie. We went to a new park and it was great! The kids had a blast and although it was a little chilly- we all had lots of fun.

Kelly: I love you for loving Ben all the time. Especially when I have to go to work. I always know he will be well cared for and loved on. You are the greatest mom and friend! The Lord blessed me when he brought you into my life!

My Sweet Little Bookworm

This past week Ben has not been feeling his best and has struggled with on and off fevers. So today we were in his room playing and he asked to get into his bed. I thought this was not really like him but let him in anyways. Once he was in he asked for some books and just sat/laid in there reading his books for about the next 30 minutes while I folded laundry. It was sad and cute all at the same time. I love that he loves to read but it is so sad when he does not feel well.

It's Miller Time!!!!!

This weekend we went out of town and visited my cousin (great friend) and her family (the Miller Family) in Sonora. It was beautiful and we had a great time! The drive was 6 hours and Ben did great in the car. He slept, ate snacks, sang to the radio, pointed and said cow as the cows went by the window, and played with toys. I was really impressed with how well he did in the car! It was also nice to have such a long drive with Bryan because we have not been able to spend a lot of time together lately. We had great conversations both serious and funny. This weekend was the perfect bablance of recreation and relaxation- thank you Miller Family for having us for up for the long weekend!

One day we went to a place called Covers. There was a little park for Ben to play and a little petting zoo. They also had yummy fresh cookies!

On another day we went to the snow- it was the perfect weather. We packed lunch and had a great time. I love watching Ben try to walk on the snow- too cute!
