Ben's First Eye Exam

Ben had his first eye exam today and he did great! The optometrist uses cool cameras and video games to test children's eyes and Ben thought it was super fun!

My life with my boys might not be filled with outrageous adventures or trips that make others jealous but my life with my boys is never short of LOVE or snuggles and to me, nothing replaces that!!!

Ben: Doing Hard Work

This past week, in addition to conquering first grade, also rocked it at swim and soccer practice! He was beyond exhausted for sure but he LOVED it!!!! He couldn't wait for soccer or swim all week! This kid is one heck of a hard worker, an athlete and just loves being active and I will continue to support whatever sport he wants to try even if it means feeling like I live out of my car taking him place to place hahaha!

Ben's First Week of 1st Grade!!

This past Tuesday Ben started 1st Grade!!! I can't believe that he is now in 1st grade! It is indescribably weird to have him gone at school for a full day!!! He was a little nervous about staying at school all day but he did it and he did AWESOME!!!! His teacher this year is Ms Duval (we have been friends since we were about 10 years old) and she is just the best teacher! She is organized, gentle but firm, clear about her expectations, creative and just really loves her students! Ben loved his first week of school and I know he will have a great year in 1st Grade!!!

This week I was allowed to start PTherapy for my wrist!!! HOORAY!!! One more step to being done with all this and getting my life back!!!

Almost Fall...

We might be stocked up on Fall candles and have our fall cleaning done....

But for now, we are still enjoying summer meals and pool days!!!

Ventura County Fair 2015

Today we spent the afternoon at the Ventura County Fair! It was super hot and windy, not the best weather, but the boys could care less. They loved seeing the animals, the rides and all the food! I just loved watching them smile and giggle: good times!!!
