Swim Team Catch Up

This past Saturday Ben swam in his last swim meet of the season. He completed his first season of swim team and I am so proud of him. This past season he learned new techniques and stroke, he met new coaches, and he made new friends. Additionally though, he also learned how to work through massive fears and anxieties such as going off the blocks, race anxiety, and pushing through when your goggles fall off, etc. He has grown not only as a swimmer but also as a young athlete and I am so proud!
*Shout out to Ben who ended the season earning his fastest times in the 50 breaststroke and 50 free! All your hard work paid off big time!

Quick Little Getaway

Making marriage a priority in the business of life can sometimes be very challenging but we work hard to make it a priority. One way we do that is quick little weekend getaways together. Just a little bit of time to connect, catch up, talk about parenting or other things we don't typically get time to talk about and just make memories together. I greatly love this time together!!!!!

Here are some pics from our most recent getaway to Solvang.

Just Taking A Minute

I love just being able to take a minute to spend time with this guy! Just a quiet minute to sit and talk and catch up on life. We have a crazy busy life so these little moments are really important to us! Thankful for him

Mother's Day 2019

This morning we spend time with Grandmas, Grandpas and our family to celebrate Mother's Day. It was a nice quiet morning together just visiting and eating some yummy food! So thankful to have such wonderful mothers in our lives that love us and guide us to become the best we can be.

Beach LIfe

One thing that the boys just love doing is going to the beach in the morning and spending time together. Nathan can often be found building something and trying to break something apart to see what's in it. And Ben can often be found searching for sea glass. The beach isn't my favorite place in the world, but being with these guys just talking and spending time together in the quietness of the early morning is definitely my favorite place!

Nathan the Performer

They say that life is a stage and I am pretty sure for Nathan, nothing could be more exciting. He just loves singing and acting so when his class put on a performance this past week- he was so excited! It was so fun watching him enjoy being in his element and feel proud of himself and he was nothing short of entertaining to say the least! Makes me wonder if we will see him on more stages in the future?!?!
