Where is Nathan???

This morning Nathan and I were playing Hide-and-Go-Seek. 

It was my turn to count and when I went to find him I saw this in the hallway...

So then I opened the cabinet and found this....

Then he wanted me to count again so I did and this time I found him like this...

The smiles, giggles and laughter that followed were the sweetest sounds. How can anybody NOT be in love with this little guy! I love him soooo much, he melts my heart everyday!

Best Part of Waking Up!!!

Every morning I get woken up by the sweetest little voice saying "mommy are you awake? Can I snuggle with you in your bed?"... and of course I say yes, because who could pass up sweet snuggles from this sweet boy. So he crawls out of his bed, grabs his puppy, crawls into my bed, kisses my cheek, and then snuggles up super close to me. This is the best way to start any day!!!

Happiest Day at the Happiest Place

I remember when I was little and my parents surprised me and my little sister by packing us up super early and taking us to Disneyland- it is still something that I look back on and love to think about. Lately, Ben and I have been needing some special one-on-one time, time to just connect and make some special memories for the two of us. So with my birthday this week, and Ben on fall break I decided I wanted to take a day and surprise Ben with a trip to Disneyland for just the two of us. So early Tuesday morning we did just that and it was AMAZING!!!! We laughed, ate yummy treats, explored new lands and rides and just spent the day talking about life and making tons of new memories. Our longest wait was only for one ride and it was only 15 minutes. There was NOBODY there and the weather was crisp and cool so it was perfect for walking around all day. We were able to ride everything Ben wanted to, that kid has no fear, and some rides like Pirates and Matterhorn we rode so many times I lost count haha! 

I am SOOO glad Ben and I were able to have this day together- he said it best when we were leaving and he turned to me and said "mommy I hope I remember this day as long as I am alive"... me too buddy, me too!!!!
