Daddy Adventures

This weekend the boys went with daddy to the Camarillo Air Show. They had a great morning exploring the planes, law enforcement vehicles and other fun boy things.

Ben Starts Kindergarten

Today was Ben's first day of Kindergarten and he had a great day! I actually ended up helping in his classroom today so I was able to watch him from afar and it was great to see him fit right in, use his self control and laugh as he made new friends. I pray that this year is a great year for Ben and that he grows not only academically but also in his understanding of what it means to be a great friend!

Ben: Meet Your Teacher Day

So there has been a last minute change in the plans for Ben's school for next year. For reasons that I won't get into on the blog, Bryan and I have decided to change where we are sending Ben for K next year. Starting tomorrow Ben will be a Kindergartner at Poinsettia Elementary School and we are all very excited. 

Today Ben got to go and meet his teacher, meet his new classmates, see his classroom, find his new desk and cubby, etc. He was very excited and can't wait for his first day tomorrow :)

Ziggy the Piggy Pics

Ziggy the Piggy just LOVES to be snuggled and will just lay perfectly still with the boys as long as I allow it and the boys are just in HEAVEN too! It is so sweet!

Little Fishies

The past couple afternoons we have been heading to my parents house so the boys can play in the pool after naps. It's been a great way to get their wiggles out and Papa and Grandma Donna always make the best dinners :)

Water Polo Week #4

Sunday was Ben's last week of water polo and he loved it. He has asked to keep taking lessons and to do the next class when it comes up. So glad he had fun trying something new and that is learning to play a team sport! Proud of you Ben- great work!

Our New Family Member: Ziggy the Piggy

After much debate about which pet to get and proving that they are ready, the boys got their first real pet, a guinea pig that Fella named Ziggy the Piggy! The boys love her and all the little sounds she makes. She loves to be held and snuggled in a blanket and she is just so sweet!

The other afternoon, Nathan found the (new) "emergency" puppy elephant. It cracks me up how much Puppy Elephant has changed over the past 3 yrs LOL!

My Cute Little Sidekick

This week Nathan started school so Ben and I had 3hrs every morning to spend time alone together. So we spent our time catching lizards, enjoying warm beverages while working on math and phonics, and just being silly together. I love my special time with this little guy- he is growing up so fast!!!
