Hoop Dreams

To say that Ben is loving basketball would a gross understatement! He counts down to each practice and game and races through his chores to go outside and shoot hoops together. He is learning to be aggressive on the court and how the flow of the game works. He is smart when he gets the ball and is learning that it is just as important to take a smart shot as it is to share the ball with this teammates. He scored his first basket Jan 23 and then scored another basket on Jan 30. I am so proud of him and love watching how excited he gets!

Pizza Night

There is one thing that my boys always love... Pizza. And one of our favorite things that we love to do together is make your own pizza night. It usually makes a big mess but it also leads to big laughs, together time and a yummy dinner! I love little moments like this with my boys

On A Roll....

So far this year Ben has worked hard to earn 100% on all 8 of his spelling tests! Not only has he not missed one spelling word, but he also has not missed one bonus word each week either!!!

INCREDIBLE!!!! So proud of all his hard work! WAY TO GO BEN!!!

Cousins & Family Weekend

This past weekend we had a Fabulich family get together. It was SOOO nice to see my family and spend time all together. Not everybody could come but it was awesome to see those that could make it. One afternoon we headed to the beach since the Miller family doesn't typically get to play at the beach. It was cold to say the least but it was still fun! I love my family SO much!!!

Small Set Backs

Ben sprained his finger pretty bad and had to sit out this week. He hated not playing but good news is that he should be healed and ready to go by next week. Missed watching you play this week buddy but proud of you for cheering on your team even though you couldn't play!

Hoop Dreams

I love this shot that I got this past week of Ben at basketball practice! He is LOVING basketball! It's so fun to watch him grow, learn and get better each week. I love shooting hoops with him and remembering the countless hours that my dad used to spend with me when I was little. I hope that I can leave those same memories with Ben as he grows up! Keep working hard Ben- I am so proud of you!!!!

Lunch Dates

This Past Week In Review

This past week was rainy and cold and the boys and we had a lot of fun! 

We pulled out our rain boots, jackets, and cozy clothes and umbrellas and headed for the puddles! It was VERY cold but so much fun watching my boys splash, giggle, explore and just be boys! We are so thankful for the much needed rain but also for the fun times it provided for us! 

After getting completely soaked, we headed in for warm showers, grilled cheese sandwiches and our first Star Wars movie. The boys loved it and thought that Darth Vader was the best thing ever! They are now begging to watch another one!

Nathan took care of puppy elephant who somehow broke all 4 of his legs this week hahaahaha!

And Ben's team kicked some butt this week at his basketball game. Ben is really liking basketball and asking to play all the time which is fine by me because I love playing basketball and shooting hoops with this all-star!!!

Basketball Super Star

 Here he is, Ben the basketball super star decked out in his new gear and ready to rock this upcoming VYBA season! His team this year is called the Clippers and they are red/white and Ben insisted on having red socks to match his jersey haha! I can't wait to see him play basketball- I hope that he enjoys it as much as his mommy does!!! Good luck Ben- work hard and have fun!
