This Halloween was SPOOK-tacular! We hung out with the Cresto Family and we enjoyed a yummy dinner, pumpkin carving, and some trick or treating! I'm not the biggest fan of Halloween but my kids love it and it is always fun to experience things through their childlike perspective!

This Past Week in Review....
This past week was a very busy one for us!!!
I started working out (only what I'm cleared to do) this week and it feels great to be working out again after 5 months of not being able to. Ben has decided that he wants to work out with me which definitely adds some laughter and entertainment to my workouts haha! But I'll take any time I can get with this boy even that is at 5:30am!!!
We made cinnamon pumpkin rolls from scratch and the boys LOVED them!!!
We've started to have some cooler mornings, which apparently means that Puppy Elephant's feet get cold and now needs to wear socks..... oh my hahahahah!!!
Nathan got his cast changed and wanted his new to look like a "starry night". It actually looks pretty cool with the sparkles... now to make it glow in the dark haha!
I celebrated my birthday this week: dinner with the boys, breakfast with my parents, dessert with my best friend Michelle and then going to the Lure the night after my birthday with friends!
Since Nathan and I are unable to carve pumpkins, we decided this year we would paint our family pumpkin! It was a lot of fun and turned out pretty cool
On Friday at school, Ben's class decorated pumpkins with their big buddies! Ben's turned out really cute! He also took his first spelling test and got 100% and even both of the challenge words right! All that practicing and effort paid off Ben- way to go!!!!!
And of course, we spent a lot of time snuggling, talking and giggling together... 3 of my favorite things to do with these boys!
IT WAS AN AMAZING WEEK!!!!!!!!!

Cavity Free The Way To Be...
Fall Break Antics
This Fall Break was supposed to be spent camping with my boys but since the dr said no camping for Nathan (due to his arm), we had to make some changes. To say that my week was filled with energy, noise, and silly antics would be a MAJOR understatement but it was also just what we needed. Even though camping would've been really fun, we instead just spent time hanging out and spending time together, connecting.
We went for an early morning donut run....
We went to soccer games....
We had a dinner and movie night with our friends and the kids all
worked together to make apple crisp!

And there was no shortage of giggles.....
Pumpkin Patch Hunters
Taking my kids to the pumpkin patch each October is something that I look forward to all year. I just love to hear all their thoughts and comments about the pumpkins, gourds, and other things at the pumpkin patch. They are so silly and this is such a fun age!
So today after school, the weather was overcast and a little cooler (since it's been SUPER HOT lately) so we decided it was a great day to go pumpkin hunting. The boys each picked out their "perfect pumpkin" and gourd (after LOTS of searching).
I love these boys and all their silly antics- it was a fun afternoon!

Humpty Dumpty Had a Big Fall.....
Well in this story it was actually Nathan and not Humpty Dumpty that had the fall but thankfully we were able to put him back together again after he fractured his radial head when he was rough housing at Daddy's house and fell off a couch/chair.
After an ER visit with mommy and an appt with a pediatric orthopedic, he created this fantastic cast all by himself hahahaha! He's so funny- he says it looks like a "spooky carrot and pumpkin"!!!! Thankfully he is feeling better today so hopefully we can all get caught up on some much needed sleep- it was a rough couple nights at first! You are one tough boy Nathan James!!!
Soccer Saturdays
For the past month or so our Saturdays have been spent at the soccer fields and to say it has been HOT would be an understatement! But the boys are both LOVING soccer and are all smiles each saturday when it's game time! And I'm all smiles because not only do I get to watch my boys play and cheer them on but I also get a chance to snuggle with the one that is not currently on the field and I can NEVER get enough snuggles from my little guys!
Soccer has been great for the boys! It keeps them active but also gives them a chance to learn and practice sportsmanship, practice teamwork skills, learn to work through hard things, and learn to set goals! I am so glad that the boys love soccer and am proud of all the ways that they have grown this season.
