My Little Fishy Trying His Hand at Water Polo

Ben has decided recently that he wants to take a little break from BMX and try something new and he decided that he wanted to try water polo. So I signed him up for an intro 4 week course to see what he thinks about it. Today was day 1 and he really liked it! He did pretty good for his first time too but I wasn't too shocked- he is pretty athletic by nature and isn't too shy. So when he jumped right in and got to work I was super proud of him. Can't wait to see how this pans out and see what he has learned at the end of the next 4 Sundays... Stay tuned :)

Nathan James: Folded Hands

Lately when walking through stores I tell Nathan "fold your hands and just look with your eyes" so the other day while we were driving, I asked him "Fella, why are you folding your hands?" and he says "so that I remember to be a good boy and use my self control"

.... Nathan James, you are such a sweetie and you melt me!

Beach Bums (2 days)

This week the weather has been awesome so after getting back from San Jose on Tuesday, we spent the next 2 days at the beach. Nathan learned how boogie board and was cracking everybody at the beach up- he is hilarious!!! And Ben and I had a great time building sand castles, burying him, and collecting rocks/shelves. I love our summer days together!

San Jose Trip

This past weekend the boys and I headed up to San Jose to visit my sister. She and her husband recently bought and moved into a new house so it was fun to see it all set up and to see my handsome little nephews. While we were there we did some catching up, played at the park, and visited the San Jose Children's museum. It was a quick trip but it was worth it to be with family!
park fun with this silly boy!
