Goodbye Old Friend... Hello New Friend

Sometimes life throws you a curveball.... like when you take your car to the shop because it dies and you find yourself buying a new car. Yep, sometimes that happens and for me... that happened Monday. Goodbye to my old Tahoe and Hello to my new Tahoe. I love my new car, knowing that we are safe and protected and that we won't have to worry about the car breaking down on us somewhere. So thankful for a financially smart hubby and a God that provides for us through all the seasons of life. 

Nathan James

Nathan is a busy boy... and I don't just mean his schedule. Nathan is always thinking, creating, questioning, and exploring new things. He is confidant and brave. He quickly adapts to new ideas and loves to just jump right in and start trying something. 

Nathan has been playing with the percussion band at mommy's school
after school on Wednesdays

He dresses up as a 50s boy

He recently completed his first class about diving and the
different types of dives you can do

when he's not diving himself, he cheers for Ben at Ben's swim meets

he LOVES trying on silly costumes

arts and crafts are some of Nathan's favorite activities

He can often be found snuggled up with his Padre

or sneaking into mommy's bed and falling asleep

He is a HUGE snuggle bug and I must admit... I LOVE every bit of it

Recently, we found out Nathan also needs glasses...

which has him VERY handsome and looking smart! 

Melissa Presents at CUE!

Well... I did it and I survived! Today I presented at my first CUE conference and it was so fun! I shared about my Flipgrid and HyperDocs project with other teachers and I loved it! 

afterwards, my hubby took me out to Lure to celebrate my presentation! Love him! 

Ben Joins the Swim Team

Ben has officially joined the swim team and so far he is LOVING it! He practices 2x a week, sometimes 3x and his favorite stroke is the breaststroke. This past weekend, he went to his first meet as part of the team and he did really well. He overcame his fear and got the wiggles out, he kept swimming even when his goggles filled up with water and he even managed to get 4th place in the 100-breast! WAY TO GO BEN!!!!

Family Get-Together

This weekend the whole entire Fabulich family got together at the Fab house for a family BBQ. It was so wonderful having the whole family together for food, swimming, and family time!
