It's Winter Somewhere Right????

Today seemed like a great day to head to the beach and play after school. So my bestie Michelle and I packed lunches, picked up the kids from school, and headed to the beach. They were so excited and just played for hours. We kept thinking we head home around nap time but the kids were loving the beach so much and playing so nicely that we decided to skip naps and stay and play. After a few hours at the beach we headed to In-N-Out and had an early dinner before heading home. I couldn't believe as I sat on the beach today watching my kids run around that it is still actually winter and some people are snowed in haha. I love Cali and I LOVE these moments with my littles!

Happy Birthday My Sweet Boy

Today was Nathan's 4th birthday and a holiday from school so it was the perfect opportunity to go on a fun adventure. And who better to go on an adventure with, then our best friends the Cresto Family. 

We drove to Solvang and spent hours playing, exploring and enjoying snacks at this amazing park called Sunny Fields.

Then, we headed down the road a little bit to Quicksilver Ranch where we got to see lots of little pigmy horses. They were so cute.... until one pooped in front of Nathan, and then he was over it haha!

Good thing I only have fast children LOL!

Finally, for our last stop on our adventure, we sat and enjoyed LOTS of yummy treats at Solvang Bakery complete with a birthday cupcake!!!

The day, and our treats, were perfect- but even more perfect is this sweet little boy! He brings our family, his friends, and all the people he comes across, so much joy, smiles, and laughter. His heart brims with love and kindness. He gives endless kisses and provides endless giggles!

This boy completes my world and I am the most blessed mama ever!

Although Nathan's birthday is officially tomorrow- we celebrated it today with family and friends! At Nathan's request- the theme was Ninja Turtles and we had make your own ice cream sundaes! Thank you to all our family and friends that came and celebrated this sweet little boy's birthday!
