Hume Lake: Our Cabin

This past week we packed up and headed up to Hume Lake with our friends Amy, Paul, and Ada. we stayed in a beautiful 2BD 2BTH craftsman cabin that backed up to the woods so each night we ate dinner on the deck and it was totally private and gorgeous. The cabin inside felt like a model home and we just loved it. We had a great time of relaxation, restoration, and renewal. At Hume there is no cell service, no internet service and no facebook so we had no distractions and were really able to reconnect. The following posts show/tell what we did on our trip:

Hume Lake: Randon Pics

Here are some random pics from our trip to Hume Lake the past week.

Nathan 5 1/2 months old- such a cutie

How I spent most of the trip: with a camera in my hand. Gotta capture every moment :)

Can't believe he is already 3 years old- love this boy!

My 3 loves!

Out numbered and loving every minute of it!

Hume Lake: Scenery

Besides Hume Lake being one of the most wonderful places I know, it is almost one of the most beautiful places I know. There lake is gorgeous and super glassy in the early morning and in the evenings. There is wildlife all around you and the smell of pine fills the air- I LOVE IT!

Hume Lake: Kings Canyon

Kings Canyon is another place we adventured while on our vacation to Hume Lake. it was so amazing to see the waterfalls, rushing rivers, and spectacular views! I would totally recommend this as a must see!

RUSHING RIVERS

ROADS END

This is where we pulled over and had lunch beside the river. It was beautiful

The river was raging but we found this one safe spot for Ben to play in which he was thrilled about.

We didn't see any bears but there were signs everywhere and other people that were there on different hiking trails said they saw some.

GRIZZLY FALLS
When Ben got up close to the falls his first comment was: "where is this rain coming from daddy?"- love it!
